Lucy in Disguise/ Fashion Food

As I mentioned before, I was extremely eager to visit Lily Allen's new shop in London called Lucy in Disguise. If you don't already know, it's a clothing store where retired singer Lily Allen and her half sister Sarah Owens rent vintage designer clothing to people at a much cheaper price. So, as opposed to spending maybe even a thousand dollars on a designer dress, you'd be able to rent it from her shop for however long for a couple of hundred. Lily even had a reality TV series called  'From Riches To Rags' airing in the UK around the time she was setting up the store.
The address directed me to King St in London, and as I drove up the street, to my surprise, the store was completely empty!

To my understanding, the address I got off of the internet was not the original address. This is going to be the newest location of the store, as the original one was forced to close down (for unknown reasons?) and they have not finished remodeling the new store. I was seriously disappointed, but the good news is, I'll be back to London soon because I signed up for FIT's study abroad program in London. So, Lucy in Disguise, we will meet again!

In other news, recently I haven't been into wearing too many accessories as I've been trying to figure out what type of jewelry I'm into exactly; but I've found a site that sells really cute accessories.

Currently the accessories that are on sale are a few cute and simple ones, but they've got a new collection coming out soon (pictures above) and I'm really excited to see it. Judging by the sketches and such, there will some interesting pieces. Check out the website: http://fashionfood.weebly.com

My flight back to New York is in two days, so I'll be posting the rest of my pictures from my three-week stay in England soon.

Rochester/ Gill Capstone Park, England

From the two weeks that I've spend in England, Rochester and this beautiful park called Gill Capstone Park were some of my favorite places to go.

(Shirt from TopShop, wedges from Chockers [in England], shorts from Forever 21)

(Scarf from h&m. Dress from Primark [in England],  Leather jacket from Bershka [in England], and shoes from New Look [also in Enlgand)

I realize that I'm wearing these shoes a lot, but bare with me, I'm in love with them and it's hard living out of a suitcase! I have surprising news about Lily's shop Lucy in Disguise that I went to go visit in London a couple of days ago. I'll be sure to post  about it soon.

London, England

So although I have been here for more than a week now and have visited many places in England, I'd like to just focus on London for now and post the pictures from the rest of my vacation later on. This was my first time visiting London, and it was overwhelmingly gorgeous.

It's literally as if New York was duplicated, but in a smaller, more old fashioned, castle-looking, simple kind of way. It's a friendly city. I would consider living in a city like London, and that says a lot because I'm a strong believer in living in NYC!

(Shoes from New Look [in England], skirt from Matalan [in England], jacket from Holliser)

I bought quite a few things here in England already, but these shoes are probably my favorite. I got them for only 30 pounds, that's pretty cheap compared to NYC prices! The next time I go up to London I'm looking forward to visiting Lily and Sarah Allen's (I'm a huge Lily Allen fan!) shop Lucy in Disguise:

Traveling

I apologize greatly for my absence! It's been close to impossible (among graduating, finding a job, and traveling) to find time to social network, but here it goes: I've been in England for a few days now. I promise I will be regularly posting now. Currently I'm staying in Gillingham Kent, England. I'll be in London this weekend! I'm beyond excited. If anyone has any recommendations of shopping areas/ restaurants (or would like to meet up) I'd be more than glad to know! Here are a few pictures I've taken so far here in England (please excuse my drowsiness, I've had jet lag for a while.)

My first day here I wore a long striped Forever 21 Dress, then I wore my TopShop flower jumpsuit with my Steve Madden boots. I also bought a new pair of black wedges, I was in desperate need. I bought a whole bunch of new stuff (and I'm already up to my third pair of new shoes...) so stay tuned to check those out, and I swear I will be taking better pictures, haha. (My email for recommendations is Dagusia29@yahoo.com).
