London, England

So although I have been here for more than a week now and have visited many places in England, I'd like to just focus on London for now and post the pictures from the rest of my vacation later on. This was my first time visiting London, and it was overwhelmingly gorgeous.

It's literally as if New York was duplicated, but in a smaller, more old fashioned, castle-looking, simple kind of way. It's a friendly city. I would consider living in a city like London, and that says a lot because I'm a strong believer in living in NYC!

(Shoes from New Look [in England], skirt from Matalan [in England], jacket from Holliser)

I bought quite a few things here in England already, but these shoes are probably my favorite. I got them for only 30 pounds, that's pretty cheap compared to NYC prices! The next time I go up to London I'm looking forward to visiting Lily and Sarah Allen's (I'm a huge Lily Allen fan!) shop Lucy in Disguise:

  4. I lived in London for six months when I was a sophomore in college - bloomsbury area & then camden. I know exactly where you are in your photos & it's makes me miss it so much! There's really nothing that can describe the feeling of travelling to a completely new place. I'm a new york city girl myself (but in Boston right now) & I don't know if I could ever choose between nyc & london - definitely two of my loves. Plus all the museums in london are free - the way art should always be! make sure you go to the v&a & the wallace collection if you get a chance (vivienne westwood used to go there for inspiration)

  5. So beautiful. I've wanted to go to London for forever. Particularly for the reason you've stated: "It's literally as if New York was duplicated, but in a smaller, more old fashioned, castle-looking, simple kind of way."

As you can tell by my blog name, I love Castles *-* They're so lovely. And I can't wait till we have a TopShop in the states. :) Hope you had fun.

And I love your shoes! :D
